Sorry about the long absence. Holiday things, game addiction, and poor sleep put me out of the mood for posting. Also, the prospect of getting back together with my game dev partner has given me a 3rd project to work on, so I'm trying to do work on the 2nd and 3rd ones, too.
Anyway, all that's left before the demo can be posted are the sound effects. I don't want to post a silent game, and I also have no interest in using stock fx or royalty free sounds as placeholders. I haven't heard back from my sound effects guy for quite a while, though, so we'll have to wait and see how that turns out.
Level design is chugging along rather slowly. It's gotten quite dull. I also realized that there's only so much I can do before I have to start adding things to spice it up a little. Not just for players, and for the quality of the game, but for my own sake. The game will get rather bland if I don't, and make it even harder to work on.
As for project 3, I'm keeping extra quiet about that. You're not going to hear a peep about it until we have a decent, late alpha demo for you to try out. Not even the name will be shared. It's name won't reveal anything about the kind of game it is, but the name is stupid and I don't want to share it yet.
