I may have underestimated the move speed of the character. I was testing him in a rather large, open test area, when I first programmed the player character's physics. Now that I've build some more confined levels, I'm starting to realize he may be a little too fast.
That's great news for any speed runners out there. So long as you know how to avoid slamming into really deadly enemies, head on, you should end up having a great time speed-running the game. Unfortunately, I hadn't really intended for the game to be something you could speed-run, so there won't be any real rewards for completing the game in record time, aside from just bragging rights.
