With the help of the Xbox controller, I've made quite a bit of progress on the character control aspect of the game's main engine. In fact, I'd say the character controls are 80% finished. There are still some bugs, and quite a ways to go, yet, before I can release even an early alpha demo, but I'm working on it, and getting there.
Unfortunately, I also don't have much more to show you than what was shown in the post about the game earlier. Because I'm the only one working on the project, the graphics can go nowhere for as long as I'm working on code, and code will make no progress as long as I'm working on graphics. Right now, I'm focusing on the code because people seem to want screenshots and/or demos.
I can't give a real deadline (because I don't set those), or even a good ETA, because you never know what kind of shit can go wrong, but expect an early alpha demo some time before next year, or at the very least, early 2016.
